Daddy’s just crankin’ away on these. I think I’ve made him feel guilty.

For some reason, I can’t get this thing to work right…

My thumb works, though.

What?!!
Don’t stop believin’!

Here’s a shot of me on the Red Sox opening day. Mommy picked out this outfit for me to wear on this day. Thanks to Shawn and Chrissy for the duds. Daddy muttered something about the Phillies as he dressed me this morning.

Go Sox!

Here are a couple of shots from April 5th. Thanks daddy, now you’re only 3 months behind.

This is my doctor Evil pose.

Here I am on the playmat again.
That’s it.

Okay, March 29th was a big day. After yet another trip to Target, mommy decided that it was time for me to eat some food that required a spoon, instead of a nipple. It was a weird experience. Daddy put this special chair together for me, which felt a little big.

Then mommy gave me some food. I think it was oatmeal cereal and applesauce.

It was strange at first…

and despite being a little messy, I got used to it.
Now I eat a lot. I eat fruit and vegetables. My favorites are bananas and garden vegetables (whatever is in there – it’s green).
Next up, filet with gorgonzola.
Peace out brothers and sisters.

Daddy’s been spending some time editing photos- finally! Here are some of me from March 9. Let’s see, I was only a little over 3 months old then, about half as old as I am now. Daddy’s a slacker.

I really like my playmat, and the monkey and the giraffe are my favorites.

Sometimes, I get overwhelmed.

I used to have tummy time. Sometimes, it was frustrating trying to locomote. I’m getting the hang of it now. Just ask mommy and daddy.
That’s it.
Power to the little people!

Daddy was sick on March 4th, so he spent a lot of time asleep. I hung out with him for a while. Mommy took this photo of him sleeping and me celebrating my alertness.

That’s it from that day.

Daddy found some pictures on the other camera, so these are older than the last set that you saw. These are from March 3rd.

I challenge you to a fight to the death, karate style!
First, we bow…

Then, we prepare to fight…

Then, I kick your butt!

Power to the babies!

Here are a few from March 23

I’m working on being able to fit my whole fist in my mouth. Daddy likes to point out that I make fists wrong, and I have to move my thumb outside of the fist. I like the thumb inside the fist, though, it feels comfy.

Power to the small, immobile people!
…and finally, it’s not all about me. Here’s a picture of mommy…

and me.
Peace out brothers and sisters.

Here are three more from early March.

March 7: Sometimes I sleep with my hands like this.
March 16: “Hey, who’s that handsome guy?” Staring at myself in the mirror.

March 16: A goofy face for everyone out there.
Peace out , brothers and sisters.

There are things that I have to deal with that, if I could talk, I’d complain about.
Mommy and daddy move me around a lot when I’m not paying attention. I can’t tell you how often I fall asleep in one place and wake up in another. It’s disconcerting and sometimes scary. Sometimes, when I wake up, I have no idea where I am! It’s like it’s some sort of game for them. I fall asleep on their lap in the living room, and I wake up in my swing in the bedroom. I fall asleep in the car, and I wake up at great grandpa’s house, or the supermarket, or Target, or at daycare, or god knows where else. Ugh!
Sometimes, when I’m asleep, mommy (and to a lesser extent, daddy) gets scared that I’m dead and feels that waking me up is the best possible course of action. What? I’m asleep! It’s what I do! I’m a baby! Leave me alone! My solution to this has been to just not go back to sleep, and to torture mommy and daddy by crying. That seems to have decreased the frequency with which it happens. Mommy actually caught it on pixels (not film), though one time! What was she thinking?

Clearly, I’m asleep. This is one of my typical sleeping positions – hands tucked by my sides, under my hips, and the most obvious sign, EYES SHUT!

Okay, now I’m awake, and obviously, stunned! Notice the giant mommy hand in the lower right corner, poking me! POKING! Is that considered proper behavior in the adult world? Come on!
I’m out. Gotta go listen to “Stay Up Late” by the Talking Heads.
